CertiK urges OKX users to update iOS following ‘critical’ vulnerability

Following the discovery of the vulnerability, OKX confirmed that no customer assets had been impacted.

Blockchain security firm CertiK has called on all OKX users on iPhone to update the iOS application after uncovering a “critical” security vulnerability earlier this month.

In a Dec. 19 post to X (formerly Twitter), Certik told users of OKX wallets to update their iOS apps to the latest version immediately, to avoid being exposed to a potential security flaw.

“Earlier this month, we identified and reported a critical Remote Code Execution (RCE) vulnerability in the OKX iOS App, leading to potential compromise of sensitive data and crypto assets,” the blockchain security firm added.
